Bought 2 of these last time. 1 worked fine and one was broken - the base wouldn't swivel it just had an error code. Gamble but good price if you get a working one
I commented on the Woot listing the other day when I got mine last week -- I ordered one and it came broken out of the box (mystery exclamation point in a triangle error code that online forums say it is bricked). I called Dyson the next day and they wanted me to send it in to be fixed. I boxed it up and used the label they sent me and took it to UPS, the worker caught what I did not, which was the label was sending the package back to myself....I called again and a different worker apologized for the mistake, rather than sending a corrected label they redid the whole return process and are sending me a brand-new machine rather than fixing the already refurbed. Crazy set of events that was very annoying to deal with but since I am getting a brand new machine for the price of this refurb and initial annoyances I guess Im ok with it?
I got the HP4A last week. It looks and works like new. I also have the older 2 years old TP02 refurbished that has been working great. My older refurbished AM09's LED is dead after 6 years but the fan/heater still works.
I used the CC with extended warranty for these refurbished electronics so I have an extra year of warranty.
I ordered the HP4 on the last deal and it arrived without the remote. There are no button controls so it's pretty much worthless. Woot has been slow to respond. Basically they offered that it could be retuned or replaced. Either way involves bringing a giant box to ups.
We have a dyson humidifier that has exlcmation mark after a year. All the dyson hand vacumms have stopped working due to dead batteries. I have to admit the dyson vacumms had the best suction but damn they're not worth the price. I wish my gf would stop falling for dyson ads.

CC dont cover refurbs, they extend the warranty to another yr for brand new products.
Bought one a while ago from Woot. Oscillation is stuck on (even when its turned off). Have to unplug it each time now. I'd stick to Winix, etc for air purification.

Don't know about this one, but I knew someone who had one of these Dyson fans. It looked like a pita to me to try to keep it clean. I opened it up and it looked like a dirt nightmare. I'm a bit ocd about my fan blades and air filters though and I like it all easily accessable.
I refuse to use battery powered vacuums. Any of them.
Any size. Not doing it.

I was the no wifi pass guy on the previous FP deal.
I actually ended up saying fk it and buying it, impulse buy. Out the box mine looked brand new, had the remote and no errors.
So it sounds like a coin toss deal hearing the luck of others, could be good, could be a return chore. Though it does have a 6 month warranty through Dyson and one user above got a brand new machine out of it.

Absolute nightmare to clean, refill, maintain.
Vaccums though i've tried many of them. Dyson still the strongest suction. Only the batteries are terrible but since I discovered aftermarket adapters I use my tool batteries on it now. Saved me a ton of money. $25 used dyson dead battery, $15 adapter, existing ryobi battery.

Buying Dyson refurbished products is like hit or miss.
I bought Factory Reconditioned Dyson V10 last month and Dyson HP4A this month. Both look brand new with all listed accessories and remote.
Last year I bought a Factory Reconditioned Dyson Airwrap and there were many scratches on it. I returned it.

How often do you need to replace the filter, or just need to clean it and re-use?
