These have been on clearance in my market for a couple of months. Note that this is not a quick-lok tool - meaning it is a trimmer only, no attachments from the quick-lok lineup can be used.

You laugh but I have a Ryobi brushless that takes what feels like 1-2 seconds to "get going" and it's difficult to learn that in your head. Like I also have a Stihl 130r kombi and when you pull the trigger the response is basically instant and going from that to the Ryobi is difficult. I think project farm rated this one pretty highly and he talked about trigger response as well. Like I like the battery trimmers but it takes a little to get used to.

Picked this up last week and it's great. Literal replacement for a gas trimmer. They sit side by side and this 17" is the only one I grab.

I think I have 300-320 Ah worth of m18 batteries and there's always 6 12ah batteries charged whether in the tool trailer or in the home garage so I never am without power.
