Best dashcam out there. It's worth getting the hardwire kit to hide all the cables even if you don't intend to use it while car is parked

You can also use the FitDVR dash camera power adapter that powers off your mirror if you don't want to use their power adapters or the parking mode hardwired power adapter. The FitDVR makes it look really clean and it's very easy to install.

I think hardwire is better so it doesn't only work with key on.
