Funny to see a network tuner without a screen of any sort. I'm assuming you have to use your phone. In my experience with Yamaha receivers, they have always been strong performers and last forever.

Doesn't appear to have Airplay, which has higher bandwidth than Bluetooth! Might not matter for some people but as this is a stereo product, you'll have more audiophiles looking at this vs the average AVR!

All my music library from my PC sound amazing with a build in USB DAC function...
This allows you to make a direct digital connection between your computer and the input of the receiver's DAC when you're ready to stream audio from your personal music library or favorite streaming service.

To connect a Yamaha R-N800A to your iPhone, you can use either AirPlay or Bluetooth...It does...

I understand the appeal of a USB DAC but even if it is spec'd to be equal to or better than the Yammy's ESS Sabre ES9080Q DAC, the difference in SINAD will be inaudible!

I stand corrected! The Amazon site doesn't note Airplay but the official Yamaha site does!
Thanks!

See that black strip running across the bottom of the faceplace? The middle of that hides a display, though one that is quite small and limited by its size to what it can show you. Depending upon what you're doing at any given moment it shows the setup menus, signal source, frequency if using the tuner, shows the volume as it's changed, and song names from most digital sources.

I added a bit to that post just as you were responding, see the edited version for a few more details.

The amazon listing shows it on the main pic, it says "Net Radio".
