Sams has the Beef or Turkey Sticks, the Old Wisconsin brand for $12.38 and you get 32 ounces of them. They are 1 ounce each stick and there are 32 in the pack. They are normally $14.38, but this month they are $2 off at Sams, no coupons necessary. I used to eat the turkey ones a lot when I was on a diet and they are pretty good. I haven't had the beef ones, but the reviews are nice.

Many companies have "No nitrates added" on the label but then an asterisk that says they concentrated a bunch of nitrates from celery and put those in. The exact same nitrate is not more or less healthy because it came from a "healthy natural" source like celery.
Making your own jerky in your oven/food dehydrator (and not using a commercial seasoning packet) is about the only way to dodge the nitrates.
But this is the old "Made WITH 100% Beef" and some fillers.
