No, I love 16:10 screens, I refuse to buy a 16:9 screen on laptops.

I am also fine with FHD+ on IPS screens, but on OLED the text is fuzzy. Some people claim it is only on touchscreens, but I have seen it on non touchscreens. I don't see it on 3k screens (touch or non-touch). Otherwise I am not a resolution snob like some people.

Go check it out for yourself and you decide.
I bought this from the previous deal. It actually plays Cyberpunk 2077 at 38 FPS at medium preset, so I'm pretty impressed a thin and light laptop, that can charge from a USB-C battery pack, with integrated graphics can pull this off.

How does this compare to a MacBook Air M2 at $799?
One runs Windows and one runs macOS. Was there something in particular you wanted to know about?

Sort of surprising to me...i'd have bet M2 would have had a higher margin.

I purchased the Asus and am not too impressed with the resolution, seems spec wise it's up there with the M2, albeit slightly behind. Unsure if I'm going to keep it or not.

So you already have a MacBook Air M2? You're not very open about what you are doing.

Sorry - I own the ASUS, but was sort of underwhelmed by the screen. Was contemplating returning it for an M2 Air, was just seeing if anyone had a preference of the two if OS didn't matter (only browsing, email, conferencing etc).

this has an oled screen. Why are you underwhelmed? maybe you have an older model.

1080p screen limitation. Once you change the zoom option, all of the text becomes blurry. Maybe it's just me and I prefer IPS.

Anyone have experience buying Used Excellent? Worth saving $60?
So my Used Excellent / open box laptop just arrived about 5 minutes ago anddddddd - It looks pretty new!

The screen protective decal isn't on, there are some fingerprints on the case/screen, the box was previously clumsily opened/tabs torn and then hastily re-taped, the box contents (charger/manuals and such) aren't nicely arranged and packed inside plastic bags, but other than that it looks great.

No scratches on screen or case that I can tell, no gunk on keyboard, track pad looks new.

Waiting for it to warm up before I go through configuring it, but initially it does indeed look like a new laptop that was only barely handled.

My open box Excellent arrived today and much to my surprise, there was NO LAPTOP!
It was a shipping box, and inside was the Asus box (very light and I knew right away something was wrong) and inside that was -- a charger. That's it. F*ck.

I went down to BB to get a refund and the very helpful woman who actually knew what she was doing, could tell by codes on the open box sticker that the laptop was shipped to me from another BB store. Did anyone know that when you choose shipping, that the item actually just ships from another store if there isn't one local? I didn't. This one came from another store in CA, much further away. So she called that store and after about 20 minutes on the phone with someone in the warehouse at that store, they located the missing laptop. Some DUFUS at that store didn't put the laptop IN THE BOX before shipping it -- which was good because it proved I wasn't some low-life trying to get a free laptop by claiming I received an empty box when i actually did!

Got a refund right away and decided there was something the Gods were trying to tell me that this was not meant for me and I've chosen to not order another (which would again need to be shipped as there are none in all of San Diego).

I received mine. The top lid where you open the laptop has a small gap between the lid and the keyboard deck. Seems like the top lid is bowed out which is causing the gap. Anyone notice the same? Contemplating if I should exchange it but don't want to waste my time if all of them are like this.

Wow amazing. This is why if it is open box, I want to do it in store pick up. Last time I did open box excellent, I was shocked that there was no charger.
