OP, did you qualify for the previous Pepper offer?
I qualified for the previous but not this round
Things to know:
Credits posted day after transaction posted for me
Pepper will show as Moocho under retailer (rebranded, still qualifies)
Amazon Fresh gc can be used on Amazon
Check the point multipliers daily, they can vary. I bought when Amazon fresh had 12x points. I have seen up to 20x points (on other retailers)
Points do expire if not accrued or used
Is the license thing a requirement for all accounts? I pass - I don't like such companies. In 6 months they will send a notice saying that they had a data breach and my information was compromised and they will offer to enroll in some credit monitoring service. No - thank you - not interested!
thanks nice deal. bought a $200 amazon gc with the 8x bonus.
-30 for the amex offer - and another 35 off for the points I will get in a few weeks.
Comes out to be about $145 for 200 bucks GC. not bad at all.

. I notified AMEX that they should consider not doing AMEX OFFERS with PEPPER going forward, as it reflects badly on them.
So that's how it works? A Flux employee can just call up Amex and ask them to stop doing business with Pepper, their competitor?
You had a poor experience, it happens; there are tons of us who are having a great experience. For all we know, there could be something wrong with your Amex card.

LOL if the charge went through, prey tell me how something is wrong with my AMEX card? And what the heck is Flux? I don't have any idea what you are talking about. The point of my post was to re-iterate what others have said, which is PEPPER CS is non-existant. I am glad you had a good experience. But be assured, if you had not, you would have been in the same boat as I am.

I don't have any specific details about what may have happened to your account and your particular AMEX charge. However, there are numerous examples where an 80-yo woman in the FL Keys orders $1000 in Pajar gift card in July and the charge goes through and the AI alarms at the merchant goes off indicating this might be some guy in Alaska using her card, etc.
Flux is a competitor gc app to pepper. If Flux has 1000 employees, Amex will get minimum 1000 pepper complaints. I dunno, all I am saying is amex cannot stop doing business on a few complaints.
The only hiccup that I ran into was that I added my wife's Amex to my Pepper app and then tried to add that same card for my wife's Pepper account. It would not let me add it to her account. My fault for trying to squeeze out some referral bonus. I guess they have some automated checks in place.
Ended up adding her card back onto my account and made a 2nd purchase to get 30 off 75. Ended up with a total of $150 Amazon GC and spent $90. Not counting the points from Pepper or the signup bonus to my calculation.

Well I am glad to see you admit "you dunno". But I already got that considering you wrongly accused me of being an employee of some company I never heard of and you also assume AMEX does not consider feedback. Lets all be glad you aren't working at AMEX. Sounds like you would be a good fit over at PEPPER, though.
i had this on my blue amex but this is a bit too complicated to bother with IMO
It's actually not that bad. I thought the same but recently purchased an Amazon GC for $75 and got the confirmation email from Amex for the $30 off. I successfully loaded the GC right away into my account without any issues.

Yes I admit I don't know the specifics about your own particular account. You didn't actually believe I knew that did you? You asked....I answered.
It has nothing to do with Flux and Pepper. The same applies to all types of business. Skydio employees call us and complain about DJI drones. Target employees complain about Walmart customer service. Everybody knows this.
All I am saying is the merchant can easily distinguish legitimate complaints about products and services vs. those that trying to persuade them from doing business with someone. That's pretty shady if you ask me.
I don't want to work for Pepper and I don't believe you work for Flux.

I agree it's a bit difficult to understand at first but once you figure it out, it makes sense. It doesn't take too much time but I would give it a shot since it's really nice to have Pepper as a gc option since there aren't many good gc vendors that seem to be above board. Amazon 12% parties are really cool even though they don't happen often. Welcome 5% KFC!
On my top banner I'm seeing for New User Exclusive, one for spend $200, get $20, and another one for, spend $100, get $20. Anyone else seeing the same thing on their account? Is one or the other correct?
I used AMEX and keep getting declined. Not sure what is the problem, anyone have the same issue?
Did you enter the 3 or 4 digit CVC? I say that because at first I used the 4 digit since AMEX usually wants that, but ran into the same issue. Removed card and entered with 3 digit on back and it was fine. Also turn off any VPN if you are on one. I can also confirm the Amazon Fresh code is just a regular Amazon gift card code so buy that one for the extra points.
Seems like my posts autocorrected Flux, the app is called "Fluz." If you like Pepper, you'll like Fluz, they are both reputable and have good representation of most popular merchants. Good alternative to buy egcs and physical gcs in other locations.

Thanks for the tips. Had to change the amex cvc to 3 digit and bought Amazon Fresh GC that worked on Amazon. Got the amex confirm email, too, on same day as signing up.
