The game is pretty meh. It's too complicated for kids under 7 to play alone as you need to be-able to read

Forza horizon has ruined all mediocre racing games for me. I just can't go back to games like this.

I still play sonic racing. I prefer arcade type racing over a sim.

Surprised at the low-key hate for this game. My kids enjoyed it and so did I.

I have such a hard time understanding what some of these companies are thinking when they handle a toy/kids show property like a regular game. Clearly this game is meant for little kids (not just because of the property, but the actual gameplay is meant to be exciting for kids), but the UI and mechanics are NOT kid friendly. The idea to me is that little kids should be able to pick up a game like this and just go. We have picked up games for things the kids have loved like LOL Dolls and Bluey, but none of them are simple pick up and go, kid friendly. When will they learn that all they need to do is make it simple and kid friendly, and then easy/fun achievements for the adult achievement hunters that might also play it? Those are the only two crowds picking them up.

I didn't hate it, but I wasn't excited to keep playing and actually finish it. My kids had no interest in it. My 5 year old preferred Horizon 5. Give him a car, plunk him down in the middle of the field, and let him go.

A 5 year old player is on Forza? That's unusual.

How? Because playing a superior game makes inferior games less enjoyable.

Forza Horizon; open world, press buttons and things happen. He's not running online races. My daughter was probably 4-5 when she first tried Forza 7. She had fun. I'd set her up on a track like bathurst or the ring and she would use the walls to help guide her. They honestly play like most of the online racers... lol. I can only assume Horizon is full of little kids though.

My 2yo can hold a controller and press the trigger. He isn't exactly in control of the car but he is moving and he's happy as can be. By the time he's 5 he'll be pretty decent.
