My bad, virtual dust collectors.
However, there are occasionally gems - Galaxy Kart for $2 is a steal (not sure if the deal is still on tho). Even at full price, Galaxy Kart is a fair for how fun it is. But that is very rare, so I'm far more cautious about these than I am excited, in general.

But, comments like these have kept me from buying a VR headset. I was really excited to get one, but then searched the store for games and only found a few that I would be interested in. Seems like the games are similar to low budget Wii games. So, shovelware is probably accurate for many of them.
And the fact that I can't use half of my digital movie apps on it. I have about 50 movies on Fandango/Vudu and apparently this headset doesn't have an app for it.
I have zero desire to "rent and stream" games through any GamePass style service either. I have great internet 1GB/1GB fibre, and Game pass still labs too much to play anything that requires precise timing.
I'm still baffled as to why some bigger developers haven't tried releasing some bigger titles on it. Some would be a great fit. I think an updated Xwing vs Tie Fighter would sell like crazy. Battlefront (classic ones). Battlefield (classic ones). Even throw an older version or the mobile version of COD on it.
Madden, NBA 2k, UFC...these would all be great. Only ones I've seen are Resident Evil.

Nobody is buying the quest, hopefully, to stream their 50 movies on Fandango/Vudu, that's not the point of it. It's like not buying the Switch because it doesn't have a Vudu app. If anything, you'd want to watch 3D movies on it since it's a 3D-Device.
As for adding Madden, NBA 2k and UFC? Lets also add Cyberpunk, Stellarblade and Silent Hill to the mix! Unfortunately, it's not as easy as "Throwing an older version on it", part of what makes the games on Quest (and VR) so good are that they're developed for VR, it's completely different from porting a PS5 game to Xbox, but that's what makes them so unique and worthwhile, and hard to pick something like System Critical over one of those much better titles if you have a collection. I don't use Gamepass or streaming at all, so to use that and Vudu as the reasons not to get into VR is just silly
