Not too great of a deal. I got my S24 Ultra 512GB with no trade in for $751 including taxes about 5 months ago.

Returned both 16 pro max phones. Battery life was horrible. Back to galaxy.

My partner with the new iPhone 16 pro max is constantly asking to use my S24 Ultra camera 😅

I think you may have a misunderstanding, but it might be me not understanding you.

The price is $760 after discount. If you are seeing $760, then your maximum discount has been applied. There is no additional discount right now.

Does Samsung still has many apps that I won't be able to disable?

I switched to Pixel and OnePlus because of this, significantly less bloatware and if any then you can disable it.
I don't think there was much to disable. Some system apps can't be disabled it seems like, but bloatware is minimum imho, but I've been using Samsung phones for 15 yrs now.

Just FYI for samsung.com purchases, new account + referral code gets you 5% off, and don't forget to check CB sites.

Not a good deal, especially so close to the S25 series launch.

The 512GB was this price off and on for most of the second half of last year.

At this point, I'd just wait for the S25 announcement.
S25 will be $1400. This is an insane deal at half the price.

I had this mentality & nvr bought samsung, Had one plus 8 pro & pixel 7 pro. First time switched to s24 ultra & its the best phone I ever had, one UI is smooth. I didn't face any problem coming from pixel.

Yeah, This is the tax that we pay in California! I think it is calculated based on the original price/before discounts Frown
We're still in the dark about the exact specs of the new S25, which raises the question: is it worth upgrading to the S25, or is the S24 a good enough option for the price?

I'll probably going to pull the trigger later on with some cash back site so I can feel a bit better. The s22 battery is showing its age .

Just wait (tm)

This has been the on and off price for the 512gb ever since October. Not really a deal.

Doubt it.

Camera quality is always touted as being incredible on non-Apple flagship phones but is always disappointing.

iPhone at least takes good consistent photos. Even in dark environments.
They're all shite in dark environments. You need a real camera in the dark.
