This Director's Cut is one of the few times where it's really, REALLY worth it.

DC is tempting through Apple. Rumor has it that Disney has a 4k master that was shelved during the merger. If bought through Apple that would hopefully mean a free upgrade down the road. At any rate no 4k DC exists so I'll bite

Is the Apple link to the director's cut? It doesn't specify and I can't find the DC in Apple Store. They only have the single title

If you purchase the Roadshow version you will get the theatrical cut and the director's cut in the extras.

I usually don't care for Ed Norton in movies but he's okay in this one.

The Director's Cut is SOOO much better, don't even waste your time with the theatrical version.

edit: fyi, from what I can tell, the 'roadshow' DC just adds an 'overture' at the beginning & an 'intermission' in the middle, trying to give the feel of a classic epic film
