It tends to not stay vertical so measure temperature on surface/air, not 6 inch down.
The gasket to protect the battery did not last long and there was some water intrusion behind the display.
Not clear what the solar panel is doing as we still had to press a button to get it to display something.
So, cheap but unlikely to last more than a season.
