Been shaving my head daily for the last 20 years. Money saved on hair cut and shampoo goes into my retirement fund.

I actually saved a lot from going to the barber thanks to the pandemic. Learned to cut my own hair from watching videos.

Same here & you can buy decent clippers on Temu. Certain replicas are definitely worth buying & at a fraction of the cost compared to the clipper being advertised here.

This looks like some cheap kinda version of the Fast Feeds, but with a different motor. The Oster Fast Feeds are legend and last near forever so not sure i would risk messing with perfection.

I've been shaving my head for twenty years and smoking weed with the savings. Checkmate.

This good for manscaping?
clippers have been used for manscapping before clippers marketed for manscapping was a thing.

There are no reviews anywhere for this product. All I can find is BuyDig who is also Beach Camera selling this product exclusively on their websites, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. Even the Oster websites link to these listings. The Amazon listing is exactly as old as this thread. I can find one Oster Instagram post from 58 weeks ago that might make a reference. I see an old unavailable CosmoProf listing which at least signals it may have been meant for professionals.

As far as I can tell, this product line was a flop, and all product was likely liquidated to Buydig. This set could be as garbage as a $20 Black Friday set or a decent professional set that failed marketing. It flopped for a reason and there's no telling anywhere why.

How about those that bought 2 weeks ago? How's the quality?

Just chiming in that I cut my own hair too. I use Wahl detailer and elite pro clippers. Fades last less than a week - anyone paying a barber would save tons of time and money to learn to do it on themselves. I added a 3-way foldable mirror and I get compliments all the time. I have saved $1000's doing it myself.

How does this Craftsman compare to the Oster Fast Feed? I have a 12-year old Fast Feed. I periodically replace the guard blade and cutting blade (now using ceramic Andis blades) and have also replaced the housing (the original cracked after dropping) and various screws (corrosion/rusts develop). The Fast Feed is solid. Wondering if I should get the set for the micro trimmer and the main clipper. I use clippers to buzz my head every week (preferable to shaving since I don't want cuts on my scalp)

Love when people think they gonna save money cutting their own hair... you end up looking like you lost a fight with a weed whacker. Sometimes, paying a pro is the real 'deal'.

Not necessarily true. Especially for people who already do short hair cuts, it's not too hard to do a decent/average cut.

Once my barber stopped using scissors on my hair, I started cutting it myself

Holy moly! That's like what, $200 bucks a year? For another $50 you can probably start making toothpaste out of a charcoal briquette and some free duck sauce from the local chinese place! You'll be retired in no time!
