Can this be used as high endurance level cars for dash cam purposes?

These Samsung cards are some of the best on the market. I have a 32gb card, that's a decade old, still working.

Yes, it's design to work in extreme temperature and action camera. So it should work just fine for dashcam.

Not really, it's not just the temperature but the amount of data that will repeatedly written on the card. Viofo recommended their card and Sandisk Max Endurance only...

They still work. Yes, they do fail earlier but not a whole lot earlier from my experience. I've used a good regular micro SD card and various endurance micro SD cards on security cameras and dashcam. The biggest issue was really with micro SD cards that can't handle temperatures that are too hot.

Overall, the price you pay for the endurance scales around the same as the extra life you get. Plus a peace of mind with warranty.

What is the use case where I would really benefit from the Pro Ultimate over the Pro Plus?

You don't get the usb reader, but I'd spend the extra $3 on the high endurance version:

TeamGroup also has a 2-pack of 128gb high endurance cards for $22.49 or a single pack for $12.99. I personally don't trust the brand but here's the link in case you might:

Samsung warranty doesn't exist on memory cards. Open a support ticket and expect no response for months...

Does anyone know if the UUID is stored in the reader or the card?

UnRaid requires a unique UUID and I've heard of people using these readers instead of flash drives since the UUID is stored in the reader. Can't find confirmation though.

Amazon Pro Ultimate vs Best Buy Pro Plus. Is there a difference? Thanks!
