Keep the box in case you need to ship it back for repair…

This is important.

I read so many horror stories regarding QA and this monitor. I've also seen these sold locally AS-IS for parts because the monitors stopped functioning properly.

Buyers beware…
Bought this last time when it had a deal for $500. When it arrived, the screen had a giant thick black line in the middle as if it was cracked/bent. I had many instances where I received monitors with dead pixels, but nothing like this.

thank god i filmed myself unboxing just in case the monitor was defective out of the box. I showed pics to cs and they first asked if the box was damaged (which was not). Then I told them I filmed the whole unboxing and I can show them. After that, they refunded me, but it was still a pain to carry the heavy box to FedEx.

btw, I first asked for a replacement, but they said they couldn't since it was a "promotion."

A remember a guy a few weeks ago ranting a 49" curved monitor for $300 would be a "warm deal." LOL, wonder how that kid is doing Wink

This model is not good. I bought this model barely 4 weeks ago and the screen just stopped working on the right side. I requested service thinking it'd be under warranty, and they determined it was physically damaged so it wasn't covered. I'm now stuck with a defective monitor.

Got it a few weeks ago for $498+tax from the prior deal. It was initially fine but after a week developed aid the screen that is distracting. The rep assured me I could return and rebuy at the higher price and they would refund me the difference. Will try to talk to them tomorrow and see what happens. Hopefully the new one that arrives in a few days is working well

Source? Because I think you might be speaking about the non OLED version. THis is a newer model that was just released.

There is a way to get another $50 off. Log into your account on a browser, and clip the "Exclusive Upgrade Credit" for $50 off. Then, after you have it in your cart with the $50 less, click on the banner to open it in the app. You should have both coupons applied. (You can also try chatting with a rep for another 5% or 10% off but do NOT click the link they send you. Ask them for a promo code instead. It will stack.)
