The under $500 price around BF was the deal, not at $900.
While I do agree $900 is not much of a deal, it was $580 refurbished with 90 day warranty, and the best deal for new one was $810 with $100 egift card. Maybe you are confused with AW3423DWF deal that was under $500 after selected Cap1 cashback and egift card?

Great monitor but very limited fw updates vs competitors with the same panel (MSI, LG, etc). Glossy panel for those who prefer, the MSI and some others have that, LG uses matte. In a light controlled room I prefer glossy on OLED. I love mine, but disappointed in Dell's response time on fw, which is critical to these as there were several HDR and DV issues to iron out, and only some have been.
I bought for around 770 during black friday but had to return it. I thought i would like the curve, but it made text really difficult to read and the size was just a bit too big for coming from a 27 inch. New monitors are coming out this year so we should see bigger price drops on these older models.

That one is 34 inch and not 4k. I would jump on this if there is $100 gift card with 15% C1 cashback.
No it was this one.
It was $899 - Dell 10% Monitor coupon code in all of our rewards account - $50 AMEX Deal, - $30 Chase Deal - 16% C B from a third party site, and then you got $100 Dell GC & $75 in dell points = $479
Brand New.
Having said that.... I ended up selling it, it was a pretty monitor but I just couldn't get into the curved screen. The curved boxes were messing with my mind.

For those that sold it and couldn't get used to the curve, I guess you were coming from a flat panel? The curve on this is really mild at 1700R. I personally never used curved monitors but just switched to a Dell 3221qs which has nearly identical curve at 1800R and didn't have any issues getting used to it quickly. Maybe it's just a person to person thing.
I can see an argument for curved on non OLED just due to viewing angles but for these you pretty much have to lean on "immersion" and I never really got the impression it was more immersive until you go maybe to some very large display. I think gamers just have been trained to like them coming from older tech panels or something

So I can confirm that some of us got a great price on this back in November.
$900 - $90 Alienware coupon - $250 Cashback -$50 from amex credit card -$28 from credit card Cashback
$532 + tax
For me about $600 paid for monitor + 72 in dell credit and $100 dell gift card.
