I have this same tv, same price a few months ago. Really like it. The main board did go out, but TCL was good on their warranty. I'm pretty sure that was a result of lightning. I now have surge protectors on everything.
Not sure how this could be considered a hot deal given that it was $100 cheaper for over two months up to about a week ago. Nice TV but not a deal at this price.
