For anyone thinking about jumping into anamorphic lenses, buy it. It's actually a good lens to shoot night photos.
One thing many folks don't talk about is that the 1.33x squeeze factor nearly compensates for the crop factor of the lens on APS-C (not MFT).
For this 24mm focal length, on an APS-C sensor will still net you roughly 25mm instead of the normal 36mm effective focal length.

This is actually quite interesting on a Micro Four Thirds sensor, because 24mm equates to a 48mm FF field of view, which is a very useful focal length (~50mm is a pretty standard option for getting something like the same perspective as what your eyes see)...except tacking on 0.33x of extra width. An MFT sensor has a 4:3 aspect ratio. 4 x 1.33 = 5.32. So now you've got a 5.32:3 aspect ratio...which is almost exactly 16:9. Which means if you have a camera that can shoot open gate or 4:3 video utilizing the whole sensor, with a lens like this you can get 16:9 video that uses (roughly) every pixel on the sensor!
