The bottom is made from plastic not sure why they skipped out on the bottom when the inside is metal. But other than that you can't got wrong for 7 bucks. I returned my prior on and bought this to save 7 bucks.

Based on reviews I think this all plastic, including the insides. They don't mention hot at all.

I have this bottle, got it 2 weeks ago. I really like it. It's well built with the exception of opening/closing the lid. It's not bad by any means, but just wish it had more clear/positive click when opening or closing. For as well built as the rest of the bottle is, i feel like the opening/closing could be just a little bit better, but it's just nitpicking. For $7 it's a great deal.
Also should note it may be slightly wider than some tighter car cupholders - so may not fit.

This bottle is my gym buddy nowadays, love the quick open/close lid. Way better than any other bottle that I've used. Makes a great defensive weapon too!

I'll pick up another one at this price for sure.
