The real deal here is the bead blasted Kershaw Leek for $37.99. I didn't shop around at all the popular knife retailers, but on Amazon it is currently $61. I've never owns one, but Leeks get ridiculously good reviews from their owners.

$29.99 is also a good price for the Cold Steel Thai machete they've got on sale if you click on the more link. Probably not the most practical blade unless you got brush to clear, but sure does look like a lot of fun.

Is the leek price a reflection of inflation? Or have the materials or place of production changed? I have a backwash leek I got via Slickdeals Walmart link for $19.79 in July of 2020.

The Leek is an all time classic. One of the GOATs of pocket knives.

Wow the lowest I've seen a made in USA Kershaw is around $50. $38 is a good deal these days.

I own maybe 30-40 knives. I love the Leek. I dont know if I would say it's my all my time favorite, mostly because it hurts to put it in front of some of my $200+ knives....but man do I put it in my pocket often.

I really like Kershaw knives, and I own a variety of them.

The Leek is my favorite by far. Strongly recommended.

I bought the black wash Leek from Woot a few years ago. I use it all the time for woodworking. Excellent knife, especially as a lefty. Just ordered another.

I don't think it's typical to get USA made pocket knives (particularly popular models from established brands) for under $30.

These used to go on sale for around $20 before Covid. Yes, made in USA. I bought one then and lost it. I've been waiting to see if it will ever go under $30.
