I chatted with support, asked for a discount code, said the cost was too high for the 990d, they sent me a link to a cart with a 10% code added to an order for the 990d
pulled that up on my computer and logged in with my Samsung student account and saw the discount applied on top the 10%, which brought the total to $810.
then logged in to the app on my phone, which pulled up my cart. at first it did not add the $50 discount for a first time app purchase. I had to reload the app and then it added that in too.
total came to $760. hope its worth it, I have been eyeing soundbars for a good long while now and this seems to be about the best you can get for a reasonable price.
i am upgrading from an ancient wally world Vizio bar from about 12 years ago that only has L/R speakers, hooked up to some old Panasonic sub my dad had lying around from who knows when (probably the early 2000s)
next thing to do is convince my 55" ks8000 I got on Samsung promo about 8 years ago to die so I can finally get a 65"+ OLED!
