Realizing I still have a notification for this after purchasing a few months back. Absolutely LOVE this system. If you're on the fence from a performance standpoint, don't look back and buy it!

Just bought this, came in at 760 pre tax with a 10% discount code from chatting with Samsung rep and 50$ off for using Samsung app for first purchase. Great way to start 2025!

Good price. Pretty sure this is the lowest it's ever been. General consensus seems to be that it will drop even further in the coming months now that the new model was just announced

The extra $50 is from making your first purchase on the Samsung mobile app. I'm not sure the rep will be able to help you but it should be applied automatically. I had to restart my app once for it to appear.

I got the Bose Soundbar Ultra (White) during Christmas. I like it's sound and the way it looks in my living room. Planning to add a subwoofer. But the overall price goes quiet high compared to Samsung.
Should I consider the Samsung Q990D at this price & return my Bose?

P.S: I have a small living room.

If you were to open your account on the mobile app, you'd see the same cart you see on your computer, and if it's your first purchase via the mobile app it automatically takes another $50 off. You don't need the rep to do this for you.

thanks for the post, I was able to replicate and get the deal for $760 before MD tax.

I chatted with support, asked for a discount code, said the cost was too high for the 990d, they sent me a link to a cart with a 10% code added to an order for the 990d

pulled that up on my computer and logged in with my Samsung student account and saw the discount applied on top the 10%, which brought the total to $810.

then logged in to the app on my phone, which pulled up my cart. at first it did not add the $50 discount for a first time app purchase. I had to reload the app and then it added that in too.

total came to $760. hope its worth it, I have been eyeing soundbars for a good long while now and this seems to be about the best you can get for a reasonable price.

i am upgrading from an ancient wally world Vizio bar from about 12 years ago that only has L/R speakers, hooked up to some old Panasonic sub my dad had lying around from who knows when (probably the early 2000s)

next thing to do is convince my 55" ks8000 I got on Samsung promo about 8 years ago to die so I can finally get a 65"+ OLED!

Just google AAA membership discount Samsung click on the first link. Fill out your Personal AAA info and you should get the discount.
