Usually I consider protein a good deal when its $1 for 20g of protein. This is closer to $1.30 for 20g so decent enough. But pea protein as a first ingredients...idk about that. I've had pea protein that tasted fine and others taste like direct so its a gamble for me.
At first I thought it was a shame they used sunflower oil for this product to keep the price down. But this is high oleic sunflower oil which has significant higher amounts of healthy fats. This is a great find I think. Just be sure to keep a close eye between your Omega 6 and Omega 3 intake and you should be fine. Western diets mostly lean towards Omega 6's and sunflower oils is another source of this. I would say, have this type of product in moderation to avoid health issues long term.
I received this today. Added a heaping tablespoon to my hot chocolate to add some protein and I thought it was great! I did use my frother to mix it well with the hot chocolate.
