They get deleted because SD needs to please their sponsors/advertisers. They don't let deals from competition.

Is it worth upgrading from the homebase 2 to this?

$87.00 is an Okay price. It has always been $99.00 for a while when it's on discount.

This used to be $75 if we upgrade the existing homebase 2 to 3. Return if old device is not required.

I have a couple of E340 floodlights continuously recording to 128gb SD cards. They work just fine this way. Would I get any benefit from adding a homebase other than increased storage capacity?

I hope this Homebase will help with better detection and less stalling when trying to watch replays. It's a PITA right now when my Cameras detected something and I try to watch it immediately. It always stalls.

I also have issue with the cameras timing out when viewing under the same WIFI Network. It will always try to establish a encrypted connection. I have to turn off my WIFI or be on another WIFI network.

I have the same problem but it didn't used to happen. It only started for me after they got caught saving videos to their cloud or something like that.

I did, expandable storage allowed me to integrate some of the newer higher resolution cameras while keeping the older ones. I did have a targeted offer on the eufy app and got it for much lower last year. Might have been around $75.
