To me it doesn't make a huge difference but to others, it may.

For something like this, I would put REFURB in more than just one place in your post. Would have been appropriate to have REFURB in the title since this is a relatively recent launch and the new product prices are falling quickly (but not this quickly).

also full warranty is a bit misleading when it actually from Allstate.

Just saying.

Nice. They also have the 768W refurb, which comes out to $279 + tax.

As a UPS: am I thinking about this correctly that if you had 24.5W being pulled by a router and modem, that it would last 10 hours?

Not sure it wouldn't last a couple hours longer if you're able to continue to charge with the solar panels.

I don't post often. When I pasted the link, it automatically put the title. I'll see if I can edit it.

As for the warranty. I'm assuming Ecoflow uses 3rd party for warranty support and not their own.. It could be a good thing it's Allstate; sometimes I hear bad things about Ecoflow's warranty.

I suppose I was thinking of this purely as a "regular" UPS, in a closet or wherever. I'm trying to figure out how this price compares to lead-acid UPS units, so I know how much more expensive this is.

Yes, I have one in my rack servicing my eero WiFi and the cable modem. I'm getting 11 hrs of backup from this River 3

20ms automatic switchover is pretty slow. Lots of sensitive electronics require 10ms or less to guarantee that they won't reboot/reset/power off.

Probably more like 8-9, none of these battery/inverter units are perfectly efficient.

Lead-acid UPS capacity is often ~100Wh only so this is cheaper than most normal UPS:s for capacity. Downside is that it cannot supply as much watts as average lead-acid UPS, but not an issue with modem and router only

Most all computers, routers, modems, standardized electronics will have zero issues with 20 millisecond switchover. That's pretty much the standard for a UPS. Especially if you have a tower computer which has more than enough capacitors inside that have to be drained before there is a loss of power to the motherboard. Cpap machines would work fine on this although it wouldn't be long enough for an overnight... Probably half the night

They mean it's guaranteed to look nearly new and not have degregation in excess of 15%

River 3 plus or greater have sub 10ms so it would be the next step up if that is a requirement.
