Wow what's the catch? 1080p IPS at 24 inches under $80, good ratings from a well-known brand, and s&s by Walmart. People recommend brands like Koorui, KTC, and the like at this price point but why bother if you want only want FHD.

I remember a couple years back you could only get budget office monitors at that price...
That was I was saying. And I still get down voted. NUTS!
That's expected under $100 and makes the pixel density decent at this screen size.

Unless you have a deal with a 1440p high refresh monitor from a well-known brand that you would like to share?

Sadly I think I need a VA panel. My old VA panel doesn't bother my head, yet I tried an IPS one that did, so thinking maybe panel type was involved. Also i wish there were a 4k 24 inch... I sit really close so even at that size 4k could be nice.

1080p still seems great in many fps games, etc - if using console that is. I think this is perfect for a 120Hz Xbox or Ps5 fps build and it looks like around 4.8ms max response time at those Hz. For $80, not bad for me to throw in the kids room..

I've ran two of these monitors for years now and have no complaints. 1080p is perfect at 24" - if you move up to 27" you wanna start thinking about 1440p. However, these are def good monitors at this price point.

Bought one to put in a Case Club PS5 case means it came with only a 60hz screen and after playing 120hz I can't stand 60 anymore .. but curious is there a solid cheap 1440 24" monitor I can put in my Poga case ? Has bad monitor so want to upgrade it and the AOC 24g2u isnt available here and we don't have the 24g4x in the US apparently

Yeah but this is a great secondary monitor at this price point

Nah best size for 4k is at least 32". 1080p at this size is plenty

This comment is like all those guys that show up to $100 50" TV slickdeals and instantly say, "Only 60hz." Must be like a specific personality trait or something.

This is such a bad take. At 24 inches 1080p looks great, and you're much more likely to actually be able to achieve a "high refresh rate" with whatever hardware is driving it. I'd much rather play at 1080p 120 FPS than 1440p 60 FPS.

You need a significantly stronger GPU to drive high refresh rate 1440p, at which point more budget minded monitors aren't really for you anyway.
