Got one, works great. Comes with the 'good" high amp batteries (the 2ah overheat on the saws). I would invest in a second chain, they are less than 20 bucks. If the chain pops off and you have to debur it, do you want to spend 20-30min with a file, or just pop on a fresh chain, what is your time worth?

Also fill her up with veg oil. its gonna leak out, it leaks out of every saw, might as well have it be friendly oil.

Anyone have this? Seems like a decent deal. Wish it was 16" though.

I bought the Greenworks 24V 10" Cordless Chainsaw with 2.0 Ah for 68$. It's good for trimming trees. I need it for gardening and trimming small; branches. Any suggestion if I should return and buy this one?

Just beware. I recently found that Walmart.Com has a hidden restriction on ship back returns for items with lithium batteries and/or that were shipped to the customer from a store instead of a warehouse. Must return to a store only.

(This can happen without you even knowing. My defective impact wrench was shipped from a store in Indiana to me in Cali. Now, they say that also makes it a store return only, on top of the battery restriction. There were no warnings before I ordered it and I've taken this up the ladder with them phone and email to no avail.)

If you live near a Walmart store, NBD. Someone like me that is hours away from one, it has driven me away from buying from them instead of Amazon, or any other online retailer.

I don't have this one, but I do have the 40V, which has been decent.

However, when I got mine, it had some "issues" and I ended up getting a full refund from Greenworks without having to return it. I spent some time repairing it and got it working properly, and since then it has worked very well. It seems to do a better job with oil distribution that my other cordless chainsaws. Of course I don't know how this one compared being the 48V, but I would imagine a lot is similar.

What issues were you having with your 40V one? I purchased it but haven't used it yet as it's been too cold.

It has been awhile, but I think the housing cap was jammed. It wasn't by any means easy to fix. Only reason I tried was because they told me not to return it. Initially I was just trying to exchange it. Spent about 30 minutes finding a way to get it loose.

The saw works fine. Lubrication system is better than average and super easy to adjust the chain.

The Walmart by my work (Gilbert, AZ) happened to have the 16" 60v for $140. Has a single 2.5ah battery though but hoping the 60v doesn't overheat it.
