I'm 5'11 and have to hunch down to comfortably mop with this. I don't recommend this mop for anyone slightly above average height.

The mop is pretty good. There was a deal for the combo at ~ $33 last October or November. I noted it because my wife had purchased the mop (not combo) for $1 more a week prior. And refused to consider getting the combo and returning the mop.

Still, it's a good mop, and the cleaning mechanism works well.

Have had this system for a few years. Overall it has worked really well. As a taller individual, the handle is really too short and I dislike the fact that they use a proprietary screw receiver in the mop head which prevents you from using a normal/extended mop handle. Couple that with the fact that the handle also uses a plastic twist tighteners internally and over time, one section of the handle tends to start sliding down with any type of pressure. Again, the overall system works really well but don't expect a super handle with this thing.

Do you have a better suggestion? This is the mop I've seen the most people recommend.

Good mop but probably only good for an apartment.

Way too small to clean a normal sized house.

Also, wash your mop head after every use and don't re-dip the dirty mophead back into the clean water bucket.

That's the only way your floors will ever be clean. Takes a little more effort but it's the only way to mop

Get this if you want to mop your floors with dirty solution. Otherwise pay up for the model that keeps dirty and clean separate or buy a "TikTok" spin mop. They're all over Amazon

Yeah like seriously how do they make the claim 99% bacteria removal with just water. Empty the bucket after each spin? There isn't any separation between clean and dirty water so kinda scratching my head...

Why? It's a long handle and you use your foot to operate the spinning mechanism. I'm 5' 10" and don't have this issue.

i had this before. i wanted to wring out more water and when I stepped harder, i skipped some gears on the mechanism and it never worked right again. was my unit defective? it seemed like with normal spin speed there was too much water left.

Ive had the same issue on two buckets now, once you skip that plastic gear it never returns back to normal operation. It prob costs less than $3 to make this out of all the plastic. As others have mentioned they changed the size of the pole so it feels thin and cheap, the pole should be longer so you dont have to hunch over to mop.
