I've had mine for a few months and I only need to top off the charge every couple weeks or so. If you're doing more fitness/activity tracking you might need more frequent.

The title says Standard but the picture, list price and and the part number (010-02627-13) are for the Tactical

Dont get this. The 3 just came out, and after 45 days (i believe) you can get 20% off garmins website on any watch. The instinct 3 is MSRP $400, so $320 for that vs $300 for this.

Unless you REALLY want tactical, id get the I3.

I don't think the 3 is discounted but I'd still seriously consider the 3 over the 2. Built in flashlight. I think the solar is like 5 times more efficient. And other improvements. If you had an REI membership, you could get 10% back with your dividend.

That's not a good price tho, I'd wait for 200 on 2x with flashlight, instinct 3 is not wort update tho and amoled display is bad if you prefer to charge one in a month, no new sensors on 3 too

I got the camo version a few weeks back for $170. I work out every day and only charge it every 3 weeks or so. this isn't a great price at all. Usually the solar verson only runs $100ish more.

There's only minor changes from the 2X to the 3, not sure if we'll see the 2X for $200 though.
