Had the 2023 version and was my daily driver. it worked fine with pretty much all apps, and front camera for selfies was awesome.
It was actually Google's own apps that were wonky sometimes. YouTube and maps used to have a hard time with screen orientation for some reason and would need closing and reopening occasionally.

It was surprisingly tough too. It survived a fall off of a moving car at 35mph(ish) when i forgot I placed it on my hood and started driving.

It bit the dust finally after my kid dropped it in a puddle of water and started having LED stripes on the screen.

For anyone that cares about CPU performance, the processor found in this phone (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3) is about as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is a 2023 flagship chip (released in Q4 2022), not a 2024 flagship. What this means is that this Razr+ 2024 has the performance of phones released in 2023, despite this phone being released for purchase on July 24, 2024. Not a huge deal, but you should know what you're buying before spending 500$.

Any phone will break if you treat it awful. I've had the flip5 and 6 and never had anything break. The phone is much more sturdy than you would think

Phone is $20 cheaper today on Amazon, $480. I bought yesterday and Amazon gave me $20 promotional credit so I didn't have to go through the hassle of returning and buying again

I think you got lucky in that the $480 price is for Used - Very Good. New Midnight Blue is OOS.

wow, i'm amazed that amazon was willing to do that. i bought a roku ultra for $100 several days ago and price dropped to $79 a couple days after i bought it, hadn't even delivered yet. I tried to get a price adjustment but they forced me to return and rebuy. not very cost effective for them.

It may be worth the $20 to not have to ship out another phone and inspect, test and resell the original phone as used since it was returned.
