I was living in Hawaii when the Hard Rock Cafe opened in Waikiki. The Bangles were playing and it was so loud that I could hear it at my apartment. It must've been some party. Wish I had gone.

What a sad week with the passing of Ozzie Osbourne and Hulk Hogan. I got to see Ozzie when Black Sabbath was the opening group for Grand Funk Railroad at The Forum in 1971. Black Sabbath was loud!!! And great!!! I used to take my younger brother to Hulk's matches at the Sports Arena and we had a blast!!! It didn't harm his brain too much because he's a neurosurgeon now but I think it really messed me up because I'm a couponer lol. Both Ozzy and Hulk were icons and will be greatly missed. It was a very sad week...

Yay! We weren't desperate for soda, but some weeks they don't have as good of a the deal, so I do it when it comes around.

This week they have 3 of the Coke product 6 pack bottles for $12.

I just finished Season 1 of Women Who Kill on Paramount Plus and it's fantastic. It's a dark comedy about what happens when love goes wrong. The only mistake they made was the title. It makes it sound like the show is a documentary on cereal killers (damn it, I wanted corn flakes...). There are a lot of familiar faces in it but I couldn't put names to any of them. It's fun trying to figure out what's going to happen because you know that there's going to be an explosion but you don't know who's going to explode.

If you are close to a Natural Grocers, today and tomorrow is their 70th Anniversary celebration. They've got all kinds of samples to take-- hats, water bottles, teas, snacks, etc. These are all packaged, to take home in different stands throughout the store. Worth going in.

The fight of the year is here on Saturday. I asked AI who will win and it said Dricus in a 5 round decision due to superior cardio. I completely disagree. I've got Khazmat by first round sub. Khazmat's chain wrestling is too good and Dricus will make a mistake and get choked out. Not to mention that Khazmat is 8 feet tall lol. We'll see who's right.

For Ibotta users, there are offers on Stur Water Enhancers on Target, Walmart, & Kroger affiliates. Each has a different amount paid, so you can do all 3. (There may be other stores, but these are the 3 I can shop at)
Rebates are as follows:
Target $3.49/2
Walmart $3.28/2
Kroger affiliates $3.99/2

I've been using the BOGO tearpad on each pair and have not had any problems. All 3 stores' receipts were accepted.

I'm in the third season of Downton Abbey and I'm going to have to quit. It's really just a bad soap opera with unlikeable characters doing stupid things over and over again. Mary is insufferable. The rest of the characters aren't much better. None of the subplots work. The whole thing is a total mess. I don't know why it gets such good reviews. If you want to watch something really good, try Borgen.

I actually kind of agree with you. It was a great concept and visually stunning and all, but the plot wasn't great, and Mary is really terrible.

I tried very hard to like Downton Abbey but I couldn't do it. I watched a season of Yellowstone next and it might be the worst tv show I've ever seen. Beth is an awful and repulsive character. Basically, every character is really bad and the show does a lot of preaching which I can't stand. Just tell me the story and let me make my own decisions. I highly recommend Borgen, which is a political drama set in Denmark. The first 3 seasons are tv at its finest. The 4th season takes place much later and it was hard for me to get used to. The characters are very different than they were in the first 3 seasons. I'm not saying that the 4th season wasn't good but it also wasn't the same. I would recommend watching the first 3 seasons and skipping the 4th.
