I'm over 49 hours of waiting for the Sam's Club TurboTax redemption email and still nothing. Not a good way to do business at all.

Did you get the order confirmation? I got the email with the key before the shipping confirmation. Costco and Sam's emails are coming from the same domain. In the Costco thread, there are also complaints about not receiving the key. Someone said Intuit was the fulfillment company.

When I visit the website it shows the order went through and my credit card was charged but no redemption email ever showed up. Checked my spam folder just to make sure it didnt end up in there. I suppose I will try to chat with them again in the morning and see what happens.

i finally received mine overnight. that will teach me not to buy these type of product from sam's in the future.

Costco deal matching this one, $10 credit included, is still up for costco

I dont know if Sams allows it but with Costco at least I was able to buy without a membership for a 5% fee (extra $2.80)

I'm sure this will be helpful for some people but currently there are limits on the types of income being reported. 1099s are one exception, plus there are income limits. Hopefully this tool will continue to improve so everyone can use it.

Yesterday during the NFL games, Turbotax was advertising that you can file for free with them if you're a new user (ie, didn't use TT for 2023 taxes). Does anyone know which version that includes? I found a mention of it on their website, that makes it seem like the offer is distinct from the TurboTax Free Edition (that has income restrictions)

"TurboTax Free Mobile App Offer: File for free when you start and finish your own taxes in the TurboTax mobile app by February 18, 2024, 11:59pm ET. You are not eligible for this offer if you used TurboTax to file your 2023 taxes.
