I have always used Premier (because, well, Fidelity), but this year have been using Deluxe. So far, I've found no meaningful difference, and I do have 1099-DIVs and common other investment tax situations (but not rental or business).
Im the past (and I'm sure this year as well), Deluxe works and has all necessary forms for stock sales, rental income, crypto.
Also, in the past, one could install TT on up to 5 different computers with different states (and get 5 free e files)

there's reasons to use the higher versions than deluxe
saving $20 to $30 to overpay your taxes is penny wise and pound foolish. but many SDrs are locked into that rather poor mindset.
if you have complicated taxes, buy up..

for decades, i've never had issues with 5 efiles. 4 different states (no state income in state #5).

For me its not just the cost but also I do not want to support a company trying to make it harder to file taxes like Intuit(turbotax) does.
Been using taxfreeusa for several years with no issues.
