I got spend $39 to get $20 back on two cards, and spend $25 to get $5 back on one card
Since the state e-file is $20 with the deluxe, I can't even use the cheaper offer.
Past years it used to be spend $20 to get $10 back. That was useful.
This year they've totally neutered it. It's useless.
No! That's the issue I ran into a few years ago. Luckily Costco online accepted my return right away. For whatever reason Intuit doesn't allow the mixed compatibility of online previous filing to be migrated to the downloaded registry key filings.
Why would Premier be "needed" for crypto? What specifically do you need premier for? Is the issue being able to import transactions? Or with TurboTaxes help with filling out the forms?
If you only have a couple crypto sales, can't you enter the info on form 8949 and Schedule D manually in Deluxe?

Used a different Amazon account
Why is deluxe a problem for crypto if you only have a few sales? What does premier desktop do for crypto that deluxe desktop doesn't?
The primary difference I have found is that you need Premier or H&B to upload CSV files which is the suggested way to import crypto trades into TurboTax desktop. (You need TurboTax online to import directly from the crypto exchange like Coinbase. You can't do that in any desktop version per TurboTax's support page.)
