You mount it on an area like side of your vanity. That way you can choose what options to wash with. Easier than using the built in and limited side controls.

We have them mounted where they can be reached forward of the toilets, rather than needing to reach back and down.

Bidet is game changing, you will never go back. Remote control is a must where you can see all controls easily, clearly while sitting. Mount the remote on the wall next to your shoulder.
We bought at Costco at least 8 years ago, still running great

Really bad idea with electrical. Need a gfi outlet.
One in your bathroom where you would be extending from should be one.

Difference with this and 1200L? https://www.amazon.com/Bio-Bidet-...0D47V6515/
The non L one has smartphone app support I believe. The L version one does not.

How far from the toilet do they expect you to be when using it to justify a wireless remote??
Beyond what others said - having to run wires to an 'accessible' location would also be terrible.

This is the only reason I haven't purchased one
If that's the barrier then just get a basic water-pressure bidet. They are like 1/10 the price and 1/10 the hassle to install (screw a T-adapter into your existing toilet hose). So if you decide to upgrade later you can do so with zero regret.

People make a big deal of the hot-water spray. But in reality it doesn't matter all that much because the amount of water involved is so small. Think rinsing your fingertips off with cold water after you touch something muddy... not a problem, and still way better than just using a dry tissue. It's not like taking a cold shower.

The only reason to spring for a hot-water bidet is if you're remodeling your bathroom anyway and can route your hot-water mains to the toilet.

Electrically heated water is kinda the worst of both worlds. There's a limit to how fast it can heat the water, so you end up with very weak water pressure, which is actually what matters after those Taco Bell all-nighters.

I have used an older model of this for about five years now. Without question the best $200-$300 I ever spent. Easy installation, and works wonderfully well. The remote I got with it came with a 'holster' holder with double face tape on the back, and has been mounted on the tile wall where I can reach it easily. BE SURE to plug the device (and anything electrical in the bathroom) into a GFI rated outlet. Your chances of dying from an electric shock diminish to near zero if you use GFI outlets.

This has not been my experience. Installation was also a clean T connector and of course power. No one runs hot water to their bidet. The better ones (like this one) have a tank and flash heater built it. The flash heater is for use in "Eco" mode so it doesn't run all the time, but you can go non-Eco and have the hot water ready all time. In Eco mode, the flash heater triggers the instant you sit down, and I have hot water in about 60 seconds on mine. The tank is good for three hot water cycles. By the time you run it a fourth time, the flash heater has already made the tank water warm. It has never been an issue here.

Couldn't disagree more with all this. Wouldn't even consider owning a bidet that doesn't spray warm water, this model heats very quickly, and a wall plug is hardly an installation challenge.

How does this compare to the Biobidet 6800 from Costco… Anyone?

I've had the USPA 6800 for a few years now and like others here, would never go back. The 6800 has a deodorizing (fan w/filter) and IIP function this one seems to lack. It has adjustments for seat, water, and air dry temps as well as spray strength w or w/o pulsation. I did have a plastic seat hinge break, but a replacement seat was easily available from BioBidet. If you can get the 6800 at anywhere near this price (which I did back then), I would highly recommend it.

I literally installed a new GFCI outlet and this exact bidet in my powder room this afternoon. I've had the USPA 6800 for > 2 Years in my upstairs bathrooms.

Pros:
  • The dryer on the 1200L points more directly at my butt than the USPA 6800 model but YMMV.
  • Stainless Steel nozzle on the 1200L vs. plastic on the USPA 6800
  • The 1200L has mild haptic feedback when you hit buttons, the USPA 6800 does not.
  • Soft close action on seat and lid appear to be slightly better than USPA 6800

Cons:
  • Compared to the USPA 6800, the USPA ships with a 90 degree elbow at the bidet making for a cleaner looking install. This bidet does not ship with a elbow so your hose sticks out more than I care for.
  • The USPA 6800 has a 2 sided remote so it appears less cluttered.
  • The USPA 6800 has 2 user defined settings, this one doesn't.
  • The remote holder requires a bit of force to click in and out and does not ship with screws to fasten to wall, only with 3M tape.

Other differences (but not pro/con):
  • The USPA 6800 has blue lighting, the 1200L has white lighting.
  • The USPA 6800 has a strip of light that shows even when the lid is closed.
  • When the lid is closed, the 1200L is cleaner/simpler, doesn't have any logos/print.

Installation tip! If you can't easily get the 2 black rubber 'parts' to drop into the toilet seat cover holes, lube them with grease! I struggled for a few minutes trying to shove them in until I sprayed white lithium grease and they went in with far less issues afterwards.

Ya, no. Clearly you live somewhere with a warm climate and city water. I'm on a well and the water comes out about 52℉. You should have heard my wife scream the first few times she used the non-heated bidet (installed as a cheap test to see how we liked bidet usage).

I have the Moen 5 series from Costco for almost 4 years now. It started going bad and its functions were randomly acting up shortly after 3 years of ownership. Its manufacturer warranty only covers 3 years. It was pretty good while it lasted, but I probably won't buy it again and will try a different brand next. Just waiting for a good sale.
I have this bidet for 4 years now and still running strong.
I have the Brondell CL1700 before that but it keeps tripping my 15W breaker.

eh, people can certainly and easily run hot water to their toilets in some cases...
my wife picked up one of these Luxe bidets during Amazon's sales for cheap, i threw it in our basement bathroom when she has her exercise gear, she loves it. her sister put on in her apartment after that, few buddies installed them for their wives as well.
If you can conceal the line and get to the vanity/sink easily... it's a nice option for people that don't want an electric heater running in their toilet seat constantly.
