Yes, but you would typically pay this price for just one carbide blade.

Correct, not a bad set to keep around for quick jobs but these blades will not hold up over time with decent use, just understand that before buying.

Any blade worth keeping long term will be much more expensive, but I see these as being somewhat disposable so I don't mind having a bunch of them or the diablo/arrow around.

Having never bought blades yet, how do these compare to the many options on Amazon (all rated highly but unknown brands) which include much larger collections for a little more money than this deal? If these also dull quickly and are considered disposable, then is there really an advantage?

Decent case, too. I might as well buy two for all my others to store in here. I can always use it for my bits later on. I bought the larger bit set that fits my tool box. I wonder if this fits on that? I haven't really looked at their attachment for accessories.
