No gyro (if anyone cares) but at this price it isn't a surprise.

Consider me out of the loop, but what is the main use case for gyro? I only use gyro for Nintendo games, but even then the half controllers work for me

For me when playing an FPS / TPS on PC via a controller*, especially an older game without gamepad support. Steam Input is amazing for the ability to add (and supplement) gyro as joystick or mouse input. Also, some of controllers can be used to add gyro support to a games that do not have it natively.....depending how gyro is implemented inside the controller. If added to joystick output (vs as a discrete gyro output which Steam Input or some Switch games depend on). This method works better for console games across the board as the console / game has no idea gyro is even being mixed with your analog output.

*To be fair I don't do it that often but when traveling light with just my laptop (as opposed to taking my Steam Deck too) I will game via my 2-in-1 laptop using a controller.

My kids love this controller. Steam games. Epic games. Loads of emulation.

Even without gyro (Wii Emulation, Seldom WiiU emulation) its well worth $17.

I love 8bitdo. I hope they keep making quality stuff.
