Definitely not. This isn't a get rich quick book. This is a how to simplify your long term financial life, investment approach, the kinds of investment vehicles and tax advantaged accounts to use, pitfalls to avoid, etc. I'm pretty deep down the rabbit hole of personal finance/investing books, and his is one of the best for people that aren't going to be struggling with credit card debt and may possibly want to retire on time or a little bit early. Most people make their financial life way more complex than it needs to be, and he really hammers home why it doesn't have to be complicated.

A very digestible book on building wealth. If you are looking for more I highly suggest A Random Walk Down Wall Street.

One of the best books on money you can buy. Others point out you can track down his stuff online for free but for $2 having it all in one place is worth it.

I've helped friends with light financial advice for decades and somehow I never encountered this shortest way of expressing best practice until now...

Basically know the order to put things into various account types (e.g. the old '401 until match limit, emergency fund, HSA to limit, Roth IRA to limit, back to 401, ...) and really almost all of those have good old VTSAX underneath them or a target date fund that is essentially on top of VTSAX..
