Having both, do you think it's worth holding out for an OpenRun Pro 2 sale? I've been on the lookout since the new year.
I'm wearing the Pro 2's right now (and have the OpenRun on the desk next to me). The Pro 2's were on sale briefly in December but only in the midwest. https://slickdeals.net/f/17978124
Got these for the same price over the holidays, seem a bit nicer than the pair I picked up in 2022 (which was non-SE).
That's interesting - I've had a hard time finding any reference online to the difference between OpenRun and OpenRun SE. Do you mind if I ask what seemed nicer/different between the two?
i bought this exact version last time they were on sale at costco. For the average person who uses this headset for calls or podcast/music while working or exercising, it's fine. Just don't crank it up too high or they'll vibrate. Perfectly clear imo but i'm no audiophile.
great price if you're in the market for these. Haven't tried the new openrun 2s yet

How does Costco treat the warranty on these? I wear them hard ..

I'd also argue these are never going to sound good enough to warrant too much EQ adjustment. These are great for running / lifting / podcasts / everyday use where you want to be able to hear your surroundings. They're super convenient and a great alternative to in-ear pods if you have weird ear holes like me that reject pods no matter what size. But almost any other type of headphones at this price are going to sound better.

If you don't need them asap, here's a deal alert you can use for the next sale.
