I have these. They're amazing and well worth IMO the upgrade from the Pro's if you can afford it. They're still no match for in-ear earbuds but they sound much better. If you have any questions, feel free to ask

I got the Pro over the Pro 2 because I wanted the bone conduction and minimized sound leak. I read reviews that although the Pro 2's sounded better, they had backfiring speakers to increase the fidelity but at the cost of sound leak. Is that true in your experience?

They have a classic mode as well to only be in a bone-conduction mode I put my OpenRuns and OpenRun Pro 2's next to one another and set both to max volume. Both had the same amount of sound leakage to my ears.
According to CNET, "As for sound leakage, I should note that despite the fact that these have open drivers, people standing nearby couldn't hear my music unless they stood very close to me -- and even then they couldn't tell what I was listening to. In other words, there's very little sound leakage, which is obviously a good thing." https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/...eadphones/

One issue I had with the original Pro is that its bone conducting vibrations were prominent enough to be ticklish. They're supposed to have improved this, possibly by delegating some of them to the air conduction speakers. Have you found this to be the case?

you can turn off those speakers in the app- so it's more like the 'classic' bone conducting technology.

In it's normal mode, there was no vibration at max volume. There's a setting though where it goes into classic/bone conduction mode and there's of course vibration in that mode

How are they compare to SHOKZ OpenRun SE which are going on sale in Costco from 29th

The Pro 2's are noticeably better in audio quality and have no vibrations when listening loudly because they mainly use a speaker now instead of bone conduction. They still have a bone conduction mode though you can enable in app. I don't know if they're worth $100 more though.

Thanks. So would you suggest the SE for $75 or the old generation SHOKZ OpenRun Pro $100 @Bestbuy
