These are my favs from Shokz. Own the standards and mini. They're a great step up from the first gen pro's. Still not incredible sound quality, but better than just bone conduction.

Sweet! Was trying out the original OpenRun pros which were fine but not as good quality on sound. Wanted to get the 2s so this looks like a great deal! Thanks OP!

anyone have experience with these and the originals? I kind of like bone conduction because only I can hear the music. The open ones seem to leak out too much noise

I just bought these along with the the Costco Openrun SE to compare. The build quality on the Pro 2 is nicer, has some metal accents, and includes a hard case. Fit and comfort is pretty similar. the Openrun SE are more bone conductive and you can feel the vibration more and can tickle a little at louder volumes. The sound quality isnt as good and can be a little muddled/muffled, but they can get louder. The Openrun Pro 2 have clearer and sharper audio quality, and dont really do much if any bone conduction from my testing. Basically they're just normal audio speakers pointed at your ears. They also dont seem to get as loud. Having a hard decision on which to keep for cycling use, the SE are good enough for podcasts, but not as good for music. The Pro 2 are better, but almost double the price. And then at this point you could just spend a little more and get Airpod Pro 3

I have the original aftershokz and the shokz pro. For the longest time, I thought there was almost no difference until I used the pro with ear plugs on a plane. They sound so much better and the bass is more noticeable than when open eared with the things just rumbling in front of your ears.
Not ideal for when you're at the office, driving, riding, walking, jogging, as I'm sure most use this to still be aware of their environment.
However, if you use these at home and want to enjoy the better sound, try it with ear plugs.
