I've been climbing in La Sportiva shoes, exclusively, for the last 17 years. I've tried various Five Ten, Mad Rock and Evolv shoes, but La Sportiva is the brand for me. My favorites are the Miura VS and Solution Comp. These are some killer prices, though.

I had the older Futuras before. They worked fine in the gym, but I could never get used to the No Edge technology on real rock.

I own both miura and futura and both are excellent shoes. Miura is less agressive, good all-rounder for sport and bouldering. Futura is mote aggressive, great for bouldering but a bit to agressive for my lead skills.

IDK how popular Scarpa still is, but I liked their shoes when I was still rock climbing.

Instinct VS is the shoe I use basically 100% now. This is an amazing price if sizing works. But yes they are aggressive shoes.

I've never tried Scarpa, only because once I started wearing La Sportiva, I just never felt the need to try anything else. They're still pretty popular.
