I got the digital one for 100. So 50 sounds right for this one.

According to the Q&A, it comes in a tray rather than a case.

$200 is way inflated. But $50 for a 250-lb torque wrench is pretty good. A lot of 1/2" click-style wrenches only go up to 150 pounds.

Digital is nice as long as it's kept in a way to not break. They sell weight sensor ICs with mtbf statistics in the millions and are quite reliable as delivered. It's the substrate on which they're placed that determines their reliability. Until broken, a digital wrench is far superior, however for longevity (20 years etc) a quality brand dial-in will always be better. My go to at home is a quality gedore.

How accurate is this torque wrench?
They're not all very accurate - avoid the Harbor Freight ones. I'm not sure what people say about Kobalt.

I use this torque wrench (same specs) for torquing the lug nuts on my car. Mine requires about 80 ft/lbs tightening. Also use it for other nuts around the car as well such as the suspension or engine bay.

This should work for most cars. I've read that these tend to be most accurate in the middle of the specified range and less so at the extreme ends. So for most cars requiring 100-150 ft-lbs, this will work well.
I know both of my cars call for 148 ft-lbs, so trying to use a 50-150 torque wrench would be less than ideal.
