The 3,900 mAh battery makes this a HARD pass..

16-month-old experiment Samsung didn't bother renewing with S26

Samsung also ships with TouchWiz which is just annoying bloatware..

I'd suggest Google Pixel 10 or 10a

He did not. Samsung hasn't shipped touchwiz on their phones in nearly 10 years and one ui is genuinely great. Better than stock android in my opinion

Samsung hasn't used touchwiz in almost 10 years. It's one one ui now and it's actually pretty great. I stayed away from Samsung phones back in the day because of touchwiz but one ui put me in the Samsung camp

You must be the first human to think Samsung One is better than stock android

if your idea of being better is more bloat and more gimmicks then yeah Samsung is the goat in that

I bought this phone on this deal, and the battery really is a deal-killer. I am a really light user. I have a Pixel 9 Pro which I charge every-other day and usually have 20-30% remaining by the end of the second day. With this phone I was well into battery saver (and the requisite slow performance), by the end of one day. Needless to say, it went back to WOOT.

Also, One UI is horrible, duplicate bloatware throughout.

I have never run this phone down to zero battery. If you have a wireless charger in your car or at home and just briefly give it a bump at any time through the day you are easily making it the entire day without battery issues. I only run this phone at 80% battery for battery protection and it still lasts me all day. I don't need to carry all that extra weight around to text, call, take photos and hotspot wifi to my car.

I stream videos 2+ hours a day while exercising or dog walking. Battery is never anywhere close to dead. I think the S23 Ultra was the peak of greatness but this one is very good too. Zero chance I am buying a Pixel 10 over this. All my Samsung sh*t works too good together. Tried multiple Pixels and every one has some kind of terminal disappointment baked right in. Use a launcher and have the phone however you want it.

With the cost of memory today this seems like a great price.

Wow, all this time I've been avoiding woot because I thought it was final sale/no refunds.

Anyone know if I can buy and activate with a German or European SIM card? Or is it safer to activate with US SIM card and then swap when I'm traveling?

Touchwiz? You're stuck a decade or so back bro. I bet HTC is still producing phones in your world 😆

As long as you realize, the middle amp hours of the battery are a pitiful compared to other phones..
