Different feature/technology - QLED is a layer of quantum dots to enhance color vibrance/reproduction. Mini-LED is the type of backlight, mini-LED having many dimming zones for better overall perceived contrast (better black levels while having brighter highlights on screen at same time, plus all the granularity in between).

This TV is both.

This seems like one of the better Superbowl TV sales so far.

I was about to pull the trigger on the X93L from Walmart ($400 more with no extra warranty) but that model has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports (one is reserved for eArc too) - kind of a deal breaker for someone with multiple gaming consoles.

It's a completely valid complaint! I have a XSX, PS5 and Sonos soundbar, which means that model is a non-starter for me.

I'm sure the X93L has much better build quality and upscaling, but Sony has a tendency to make boneheaded design decisions like this that lead people to other brands.
