Different feature/technology - QLED is a layer of quantum dots to enhance color vibrance/reproduction. Mini-LED is the type of backlight, mini-LED having many dimming zones for better overall perceived contrast (better black levels while having brighter highlights on screen at same time, plus all the granularity in between).

This TV is both.

Its contrast is definitely not at my OLED TV level. I am not among the uber discerning about these things but compared to my earlier edge lit tv this is so much better. Whatever dark scenes I have seen its quite good overall.

Probably not since these are already the lowest prices for this TV it's ever been but anything is possible I guess. In any case they have 30 day price match and 90 day returns.

Plug in the basic rtings settings and you should be good. More advanced calibration usually requires a colorimeter and some pretty advanced knowledge.
