Why do you need to wall mount to figure out if the tv works

Purchased at this price just before Christmas. But the tv screen was busted when I opened it. I was able to work with returns and sent it back. Just got my refund yesterday and debating buying again or waiting til Superbowl and find local. Return was fairly painless. Sent pics, boxed back up, the same carrier reached out for a pickup date and they came and got it. Once they received the TV my refund was received.

do we have pricing yet on the g5?
Not that I'm aware of since it hasn't been released yet but it will probably follow a similar pattern to the G4.

A more affordable Sony QD OLED would be cool too. Here's hoping.

Not everyone is going to be able to unbox a 65 television by themselves. In that case, they would have to get a relative or friend to help them but I assume most would wait until their installation appointment. Either option could wind up happening outside of 2 days not to mention real-life obligations.
Lifting a box is difficult. I can't imagine lifting a 50 lb tv.

For those that might also be interested in the G4 model (I was deal hunting on both C4 and G4), during the past several weeks, I've been keeping an eye on Best Buy's open box inventory from Christmas returns. BB's TV open box prices fluctuate (sometimes wildly) every few days. Last week, I was able to find a G4 65 open box in very good condition (0 hours watched, original box with all accessories) for $1550 + tax. Highly YMMV, but might be worth a look. I completely gave up on getting the G3 65 at the $1000 fire sale that many (nearly all) of us missed out on. Otherwise, this deal on the C4 is a good option.

Greentoe = product roulette. Is it really worth maybe saving a few bucks when you could end up being out a thousand?
How many people have had problems with broken TV's from Greentoe? I've purchased two TV's and my buddy bought a 65" OLED from them with no problems.

Also, couldn't you say that about any online vendor? You might get product roulette?

GT now also has the B4 65 for $1,149.00 which is pretty slick IMO. Happy hunting!

Not really at all. Maybe as main TV, but depending on space not necessarily there either.

I just threw a 98" QM8 on the wall, and would like an alternative, equal or better in PQ which this is, as well in the house. Never had an OLED, thought I'd try this route this time instead of forking over for the huge price jump in OLEDS from even just 77>>83 right now. Just made more sense for me than smaller QM8/U8N etc. + overpriced right now 83" OLED. They underestimated the 83" demand/slow played stock, whatever this year. When this QM8 craps out from being a blow torch lol, I will use that money to get a nice bigger 2026 OLED, without being empty handed while I wait.

Jumped on the 77" deals for the C3 and C3>>C4>>pm to BB. I threw that first deal out there btw. But for the place it will be going, it's too big. And I'm not being so twenty years ago where anything over a 42" is just over the top. And luckily the prices now don't back that up. . .

The deal spotlight on 65" size TV's seems to have passed though, as that C4 77 for $1697 was smokin', and c3 77 for $1499 can't be beat if you need the size.

I personally had a terrible experience with them… first they sent the wrong TV and I had to deal with getting them to pick it up, then they sent me a demolished TV, were a huge pain to deal with, then didn't end up doing anything. I've never had as terrible an experience with any kind of vendor as with Greentoe.
