Ryobi is not a Home Depot Brand. TTI is the mother company of Ryobi as well as Ridgid, Milwaukee, Homelite and more.
Kobalt is Lowe's brand. Similar to the Great Value at Walmart.

Technically true about Ryobi, however, in the US, Home Depot has an exclusivity contract making them the only ones able to legitimately sell "new" Ryobis. Direct Tools, also a TTI entity, only sells "blemished" and "reconditioned" Ryobi. Any others who sell new Ryobis are getting them through questionable alternative means.

Ridgid is a completely separate company owned by Emerson. TTI just licenses the name to put on AEG power tools for sale in the US market, exclusively at Home Depot.

Lol, I thought Ryobi is the Great Value of Home Depot, as no others selling Ryobi

How did SD survive pre-shenanigans, when it was more user-friendly?

Thank you. Seems SD likes to post each one individualy instead of the easier way (this way).

I think there are pluses and minuses, one post is more efficient, but individual deals can be easier to browse just by photo and price, and you avoid deals with several items OOS. If there was a clear preference in the community I'm pretty sure staff would try to give the people what they want.
