I got about 10 hours into it and it's fun, definitely worth the $2. Gameplay is like old school Zelda. Dungeons are randomly generated. It's also roguelike so if you die in a dungeon you lose all your materials. The goal is to make runs in dungeons and gather items used for both upgrading your equipment and to sell in your shop. During the night you make the runs. During the day you open your shop and set your items out and customers will buy them. You set the prices for your items and customers react to it. Very unique. Looking forward to the second game that's coming out soon.

Just an FYI: The complete collection with DLC is only 74 cents more.

Seems like a no-brainer to get both.

The recent reviews make the dlc sound like a waste of money/time (even at $.74). The base game is great but a lot of the recent player reviews of the dlc I'm reading essentially say don't bother. Bugs, not much added gameplay, gimmicky, frustrating dynamics and increased bullet sponge in place of actual challenge/difficulty.

It sounds like it's best to save the $, play the original base, and wait for Moonlighter 2 for more content.

I mean, it's 74 cents.

How much is Moonlighter 2 going to cost and when is it being released?

Even if the reviews are right (doubtful) and the DLC ends up not providing any enjoyment at all, I'm sure anyone can make up that 74 cents in that time.

Also on sale for Switch at $2.49. Picked it up for Switch as this feels like it'd be a perfect Switch Lite game!

The concept is great, art is great, but I just couldn't get into the gameplay loop. Figuring out how to price things (with no input other than an emote) is boring.
