True, but refilling those tiny pods will drive you bonkers.
If you aren't using premade pods, just get an espresso machine.
It will be easier, cleaner, and less tedious to use than refilling tiny pods, measuring, and filling coffee precisely to the half gram.
Not a helpful comment. This is $46 and with the refill kit from Amazon I make a pod in about 60secs flat. You have any highly recommended espresso machines for $46 bucks by chance…
ive got this same machine from an open box sale similar to this. LOVE it. I have both nespresso pods and the refillable pod. When ive got time, ill grind my coffee and make my own pod and it is really good. If i dont have time and i just need a good coffee fast, i stick in one of their pods and quickly have a really good cup. My coworker got an expresso machine and was super excited about it. Cost quite a bit of money. He tells me how finicky it is. If your grind size is off, it could build too much pressure and not extract. a bunch of variables and several times he comes in to work in the morning with no coffee and a stain on his shirt. Meanwhile ive had none of those issues. I grind my coffee, put it in the cup, couple of minutes later i had a coffee better than any cup ive gotten from a cafe. Can a espresso machine make a better cup of coffee? im sure it can. But the nespresso machine is quick, simple with litte variables, and the clean up process is basically none. If you use the nespresso pods they auto dispose into a cup you eventually empty. If you use your own pod you take the top off, shake it over the trash can and then rinse it out.
I am seriously contenplating getting this to bring into the office and having good coffee at work. Because i only use my nespresso machine after work currently because i dont have time in the morning to worry about coffee before my commute.

Which refill kit do you recommend? I was going to get one, but I read that they are all terrible.
Received my machine today - did not bother to plug it in. Looks like it was found in a dumpster at a construction site, tossed in a dirty box they found nearby, then gently draped with a used cereal bag before they closed 'er up. Tons of scratches, hard water lines inside the water canister, coffee/liquid spill/splash marks, smells of old coffee. Had never heard of Tanga before this deal. Return requested an hour ago and already approved, so at least they are responsive.
I received the machine today. As was previously mentioned in other comments, the box was in bad shape and the unit was a little bit dusty, but after a quick wipe, it cleaned up well. It came with a sample of a dozen variety of pods. I tried one of the coffees and it's pretty good. I think it's a good deal and I am going to keep the machine and the $30 off coupon for my order of $50 or more coffee pods from Nespresso. thanks op!

We have this machine (not open box). We have had it for a month or so, and it has been great. Nespresso and woot run deals very often, and we typically buy the pods during those times. It produces coffee's and latte's that taste just like the ones from the coffee shop, at a much lower price. We have enjoyed it, thoroughly.
Received this today. Box was dirty/dusty like the others said, but not a huge issue. Easy to wipe down or hand wash. The side wall of the unit was popped out of place and it took a bit of effort and a tiny flathead screw driver to get it into place. Other than that, no issues so far. Worth the savings to me. I wanted something quick for the random late mornings I want one more cup of coffee so this should be perfect.
Received product today. Box was okay but definitely looked old. Machine was dead on arrival and would not draw water from the water bank. Tried troubleshooting tips and still did not work. Requested refund and waiting to hear back from Tanga.
DeLonghi warranty portal also does not recognize model number and continues to wipe out model number field (on chrome) for no reason, may be a glitch.

Received mine, but was damaged. The side was misaligned and you can see the inside of the machine. You couldnt pop it back in. Contacted Tanga and got a label to return it. Out of stock to replace. But I saw another one I guess from a different merchant and ordered. I guess we shall see if this one is better. Same price.....

Pods are proprietary and expensive. Nespresso original and k-cup pods are much less money.
It may be an inexpensive machine, but using it will cost you a lot in the long-term.
Go for Originalline series instead.
Easily find a refill kit on Amazon. Just type "nespresso refill kit"

not sure if Vertuo Pop+ is also that unreliable
