Looking for a 34" curved monitor. Any particular good or bad reviews about this one? There is a 34" curved monitor with IPS and no usb c on the EPP website. Any other suggestions?

I think this is similar to 34WR55QC-B. that model has 4.5 stars review. i think this is everyday use monitor since it comes with usb type-c. 100Hz refresh rate may be enough for entry gamer but not for extreme gamer
I have this as my main work monitor. A+ for office work. Would double as a decent gaming monitor if needed but after getting a 34" uw QHD monitor for home (hp x34) I changed to a 38" 4K 16x9 as fast as I could. The missing vertical space on an ultrawide is annoying. Vertical black bars on videos is annoying. The remaining space isn't good enough for a browser window.

I'm confused. The monitor on this thread is a uw (1440), is this your daily driver that's a+? I've abstained from all these good deals looking for a UHD curved monitor for mainly office productivity and some light gaming if I decide to start gaming again.

Seems like a pretty nice deal, especially with the free $79 soundbar. But I would also like to add that this has a GTG response time of 5ms which is a bit slow. That means even if you do dabble in gaming, this might blur pretty easily. As an office monitor, this would be great though it seems.

I wouldn't recommend an ultrawide for gaming. A few games get more immersive but unless you're at eye level and really close to the monitor the short vertical height was a dealbreaker. A 34" ultrawide is as tall as a 27" 16x9, which isn't immersive. I also have my Series S and Switch hooked up at my desk and the picture looked really small on an ultrawide with the huge black bars on the sides.
If for work and gaming I'd get a 4k 32+" and a 1440p 27" turned vertically or two 1440p 32" monitors with one of them turned vertically.
My experience is with trying Ultrawides for work. I went from 32" UHD to 34" WQHD Samsung and Acer. They look cool, but I felt both image and colors are not as crisp as UHD. Also you lose out on both pixel density and vertical space. 34" takes more physical space than 32" and offers less screen real estate.

Note: This monitor doesn't have a built in speaker if that matters to you!
